An Important Update from Sequoia Meadow
Sequoia Meadow Camp (formerly Quaker Meadow) Pauses Operations as It Seeks a New Owner
WHY SEQUOIA MEADOW?
Top 5 reasons church leaders love Sequoia Meadow summer camp.
- Super affordable
- Surrounded by beautiful Sequoias
- Servant’s heart of the staff
- Scrumptious food
- So much FUN
Since 1938, Sequoia Meadow Camp (formerly Quaker Meadow) has been a place where memories are made, friendships are forged, and the beauty of nature brings people together to connect with God and each other.
We are incredibly grateful for the support of our campers, staff, and community who have made this journey so special.
At this time, Sequoia Meadow Camp is pausing operations as we actively seek a new owner who shares our passion for camp ministry, outdoor adventure, personal growth, and creating meaningful experiences.
While this marks a transition, it is also an opportunity for the right visionary leader to carry forward the legacy of Sequoia Meadow Camp and shape its future. If you or someone you know is interested in exploring this opportunity, please reach out to Board Chairman Richard Williams at Richard@SequoiaMeadow.org.
We appreciate your continued support and look forward to seeing what God has in store for the next chapter of Sequoia Meadow Camp.
Warm regards,
Richard Williams
Board Chairman
Sequoia Meadow Camp
Here are 5 reasons Sequoia Meadow may be your best choice for a Christian summer camp or retreat venue between Fresno & Bakersfield CA.

Super Affordable
Compare us to any camp in CA and chances are we offer some of the lowest prices for a Christian camp experience that includes lodging, food & recreation.
(You can definitely find a rustic campground where you do your own cooking cheaper, but, is that really what you want to do?)

Surrounded by Beautiful Sequoias
Come breathe in nature’s fresh air, feel the crunch of the forest floor under your feet, and admire the abundant natural beauty that will surround you.
Sequoia Meadow is located high above the smog at 7,200 feet. You’ll be surrounded by the giant Sequoia National Forest in the Giant Sequoia National Monument just 45 miles east of Porterville, CA.

Servant’s heart of the staff:
Many leaders like the one below give us 5-stars Google reviews:
“Sequoia Meadow Christian Camp is an opportunity to see and experience GOD’s beauty and His presence. The camp staff serve and encourage campers and leaders. Great experience!”

Scrumptious Food
OK, we added scrumptious to keep all ’s’ words, but folks really do love our food.
